Generally alloplastic materials such as silicone block, silicone bag, collagen, alloderm or Gore Tex for correction of sunken upper eyelid have been proved to be not effective or even dangerous.
 Those materials causes infection, hamatoma, extrusion, displacement, capsule contracture and foreign body reactions.
 So, we can have been applied to correction of sunken upper eyelid with using free fat graft, lipoinjection or dermofat graft.
 Lipoinjection and free fat graft are also less effective for sunken eyelid because they have high absorption rate and postoperative protrusion of the eyelid.
 Teimourian B raised a warning regarding the use of lipoinjection for the correction of the glabellar frown lines and the periorbital area. He reported 4 cases of unilateral blindness and one case of severe damage to the central nerve system, all of which occurred after fat injection to the glabellar region.
 Dermofat grafts have enjoyed popularly in correcting deformitis of facial contour. I have perfomed dermofat graft for correcting sunken upper eyelid due to iatrogenic or senile origin.
 And I obtained satisfactory aesthetic result without any major complications.
